About the Client

The Riverside Art Museum (RAM) is a respected nonprofit art institution located in the historic Mission Inn district of Riverside California. The Riverside Art Museum caters to the communities in and around the Inland Empire with noted art exhibitions, educational programs, and interpretive classes. The exhibits featured in RAM typically address social and political issues as well as other diverse themes with both traditional and contemporary forms of art. In 1988 the art museum was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, as the building is famous for being designed by Hearst Castle architect Julia Morgan.

The Riverside Art Museum was looking for a fresh new style to invigorate their brand identity and reflect their growth as one of Southern California's new art hotspots. So we stepped in and designed a complete branding and identity package for them, which included a new logo to represent the revamped image of the historic museum. Additionally, we worked with them to redevelop their merchandise and marketing materials. We also worked with the Riverside Art Museum on the design and implementation of a new content-managed website to go along with the re-branding of the museum's image.
