About the Client

Monark Asian Bistro is an established Thai & Chinese restaurant in Riverside that serves gourmet Asian dishes. Monark was formerly known as Little Emperor, but changed the name to reflect their focus on high-end cuisine and their upscale clientele. For years, Monark has served a tasty blend of Thai and Chinese food to the local Riverside community and is now ready to take their restaurant business to new heights.

To go along with their new name and upscale focus, Monark hired Frye / Wiles to layout a completely new look and feel for the restaurant. We came up with a simple yet elegant bamboo leaf theme to go along with the clean new logo conceived for the restaurant.

We used darker earth tones for the color palette to tie the overall branding and identity together. To go along with the refresh of the Monark brand, we laid out the menu and designed magazine ads for the re-opening of the restaurant. The re-branding of Monark Asian Bistro has invigorated the restaurant and better encompasses what dining at a fine Asian bistro is all about.
